The idea behind the NPR has always been there. Ever since man first emerged from his cave, blinking in the sunlight and
started to encase his slaughtered mammoth in very basic gelatinous goo and pastry the NPR has existed as a concept. A sort of liberation front for disposessed
and low grade savouries, a celebration of goo, gunk and animal flesh of dubious origin, a way of saying that cheap pies have a place in society and a role
to fulfill. It has taken two visionaries to get the NPR mobilised as a concept and unleash it upon the planet. These visionaries are Dr Adolf Von Rennet and
Jethro P. Anschluss. These two pie-men met in 2002 and immediatley they acknowledged a common bond, in 2004 the NPR was born as a concept, now in 2007
that concept is given life.
